Rachel Vasey

Rachel Vasey

Owner & Creative Director

Rachel started Fresh TV over 15-years ago - never dreaming it would blossom into what it is today. As Fresh TV’s owner and Creative Director, Rachel oversees all projects at Fresh TV from concept to finish. She prides herself on the quality of work Fresh TV achieves and its custom, personal touch.

She directs and produces with a different perspective than most due to her editing background, and her calming presence on set coaxes out the best of those on camera. Rachel has directed / produced pieces for many clients including HGTV, Animal Planet, Discovery Education, Upworthy, PBS, Ogilvy and numerous sponsors including Toyota, LG, L’Oréal Paris, Joss & Main, Ancestry and Northwestern Mutual. She crafts a story back in the editing suite, where she started her career.

Rachel’s skills have been recognized with a PROMAX Silver, two Mark Awards, and a CINE Golden Eagle. In addition, her editing contributions to PBS' Chefs A' Field  helped earn two James Beard Awards - one of which was for Best National Cooking Series - as well as a Hugo Award Gold Plaque.

She received her B.A. degree in Visual Media and Spanish from American University in Washington, DC, and attended FAMU Film Academy in Prague, Czech Republic, as well as the College for International Studies in Madrid, Spain.

Rachel’s big claim to pop culture fame is having edited Teresa’s table flip scene for the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Her contribution to society is complete.

Alicia Biggs Minter

Alicia Biggs Minter

Senior Producer

Alicia bridges the gap between networks and vendors, drawing on her vast experience on the network side. She excels in interweaving messaging both on-set and in post.

She has produced award-winning content for numerous networks such as SundanceTV, AMC, USA, Food Network, Nickelodeon, TBS, Bravo, TLC, Discovery, TV One, HGTV, and National Geographic Channels.

Alicia started out as an Associate Producer at TV One. She was then a Senior Writer / Producer of branded content at National Geographic Channels for over four years. From there, she had a unique position at Discovery Communications producing for both Discovery Channel and TLC. She had the opportunity to cater to both male and female audiences while executing clip based spots and shot content. She freelanced for a year for AMC and SundanceTV and produced numerous up front pieces for AMC and produced shoots with high-level actors and directors at the Sundance Fim Festival. And as the Executive Producer for a co-branded series for Nickleoden that ran for three years, she went behind the scenes with Nickleoden's teen stars. Needless to say, Alicia knows how balance the delicate relationship between advertisers, sales and creatives.

Alicia holds her Masters of Arts in Communication & Marketing from Johns Hopkins University and her B.A degree in Television Production from Morgan State University. She loves this stuff so much, she wrote her graduate thesis about the effects of branded entertainment and standard commercials. #nerdalert
